Join us for a New Mexican Fall Harvest Feast--a hands-on cooking experience.
It is nearly fall and may be wine harvest in Sonoma, but in New Mexico it's chile roasting time!
We'll be roasting fresh New Mexican green chiles and you'll learn how to make
Chile Rellenos Two Ways. You'll discover what to do with the bounty of fall zucchini in
a traditional batch of scrumptious calabacitas, and you'll learn the trick to making
perfect frijoles (beans), we'll pair our meal with the secret Southwest Surprise cocktail,
and we'll finish off the meal with a cooling dish of vanilla ice cream and green chile pistachio crunch.

Kristine and Ingrid Maltrud
The Two Sisters, Kristine and Ingrid Maltrud, are natives of New Mexico and started roasting and peeling green chiles before they learned how to ride bikes. In this class they will share with you their passion for the flavors, spices and spirit of the Southwest. Kristine cut her culinary skills with the well-known Silver Palate Catering Company in New York and Ingrid is a very good sous chef to her sister and is known to make a mean margarita.
